1. Who we are

This blog (playgridcore.com) is run by the GridCore team and is hosted on the Wix.com platform.
 

2. What information we collect & why

​When you simply visit the site

  • What we receive
    • Essential Wix cookies (session ID, security and performance cookies such as XSRF‑TOKEN, svSession, TS*)

  • Why we need it
    To keep the site secure, detect fraud, and make sure pages load correctly.
    (Commenting will not work if these cookies are blocked.)

When you read a blog post

  • What we receive
    • Aggregated counts of page views, likes, comments, referrers and device type
    • These statistics come from Wix Blog Analytics and are not linked to your name, email or IP address (see support.wix.com for details)

  • Why we need it
    To understand which posts people enjoy, fix technical issues and plan future content.

When you leave a comment

  • What we receive
    • Display name (or username)
    • Email address (kept private)
    • Any profile photo connected to your Google or Facebook account

  • Why we need it
    To publish your comment, let you edit or delete it later, and protect the site from spam

When you edit your member profile or notification settings (optional)

  • What we receive

• Any extra details you choose to add—e.g., phone number, avatar, bio
• Your email‑notification preferences (what types of updates you want to get)

  • Why we need it

• To let Wix send only the notifications you select.
• We don’t view or use these details for any other purpose, and your phone number remains private by default unless you decide to make it public in your profile settings.

What we do NOT collect right now

  • No advertising trackers 

  • No payment data or contact‑form submissions (there is no form yet).
     

3. How your data is stored

Comments and member details are stored on secure Wix servers behind a firewall. We don’t download or copy that data to any other system. support.wix.com
 

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:

  • Wix.com Ltd. – our website host and processor

  • The social‑login provider you choose (Google or Facebook) in order to authenticate you
     

5. Cookies

The site sets only the essential Wix cookies needed for security, fraud‑prevention and basic site functions (e.g., XSRF-TOKEN, svSession). You can block cookies in your browser, but commenting will not work without them. cookieyes.comsupport.wix.com
 

6. Your choices

  • Edit or delete your comment: click the three‑dot menu next to your own comment (requires being logged in).

  • Make your member profile private: open your profile settings after logging in.

  • Ask us to remove your data entirely: use the contact form linked below and we’ll erase it within 30 days.
     

7. Future changes

If we add features such as email subscriptions or Kickstarter updates, we’ll update this policy before those features go live.
